Freedom

God sometimes arranges our circumstances in such a way because He knows what we need and wants us to face ourselves. Otherwise, we never experience freedom.

As long as the enemy can hide in our soul, he will always have a certain amount of control over us.

BUT when God exposes him, we are on our way to FREEDOM, if we will put ourselves in God's hands and permit Him to do what He desires to do

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom). 2 Corinthians 3:17

Under The Shadow of His Wings

Abiding In Protection

God has a secret place where we can dwell in peace and safety.

The secret place is the place of rest in God, a place of peace and comfort in Him. His secret place is a “spiritual place” where worry vanishes and peace reigns. It is the place of God’s presence. When you and I dwell in Christ or dwell in the secret place, we do not just visit there occasionally, we take up permanent residence there.

The secret place is a hiding place, a private place, or a place of refuge. It is the place we run to when we are hurting, overwhelmed, or feeling faint. It is the place we run to when we are being mistreated or persecuted, when we are in great need, or when we feel we just cannot take it anymore.

We need to be firmly planted in God. We need to know the Source of our help I every situation and in every circumstance. We need to have our own secret place of peace and security. We need to rely on God and trust Him completely.

God want us to take refuge under the protective shadow of His wings. He want us to run to Him!!

Just A Thought?

What does Proverbs 23:7 really mean? The mind is the leader or fore-runner of all actions. Our actions are a direct result of our thoughts. If we have a negative mind, we will have a negative life. If, on the other hand, we renew our mind according to God's Word, we will, as Romans 12:2 promises, prove out in our experience "the good and acceptable and perfect will of God" for our lives.

PROVERBS 23:7
"For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."

High Places - Hinds' Feet

A hind is an animal that can climb mountains swiftly. The way God helps us make spiritual progress is by strengthening and encouraging us to "keep on keeping on" in rough times. It's easy to quit; it takes faith to go through. The CHOICE is YOURS! - Joyce Meyer

HABAKKUK 3:19
""He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk (not stand still in terror, but to walk) and make (spiritual) progress upon my high places (of trouble, suffering, or responsibility)!

Note from Shari - I've read this verse a dozen or more times over the past 24 hours... what is highlighted to me is the last part "and make progress upon MY (personal) High Places (plural)". God is declaring over our lives that we have HIGH PLACES... I think the question is... are we willing to go on the journey?
***********************************************************************************
"The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places."
Hab. 3:19 - this is Holly's favourite version of this verse.
